Abba, I haveso many things to pray for, but in this instance, I would like to pray for others. I pray that my country, the Philippines will be free from all forms of evil, calamity, greed and corruption. I pray that the women and children in my country to be free from abuse. May the children in our country be guided by You to grow strong, honest, merciful, resilient, and hard working. May our women be honest, caring, loving, strong, intelligent, respectable and be respected. May Filipino women embody the true essense of being women, caring and loving, strong and God-fearing. May our men embody the tue essense of being man, strong, responsible, honest, loyal, caring, providers and protectors. May our men not succumb to the modern time's stereotypes and cynicisms. May our men not be fearful of expressing love. May our women not be fearful and being left out that they are the ones who do the chasing. I pray that our political leaders be honest and may they truly serve our country. May our country be free from corruption and violence. May peace, love and prosperity reign in the Philippines, so that people like me who long for home, can go home soon. This I pray and claim in the power of your Holy name, your son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, amen!
