Hello friends. The choices here are to pray for others, or have others pray for you...I just want to say that the little girl I ask for prayer on behalf of (in previous posts)...my daughter, Katalina,...is turning ELEVEN tomorrow and I am FOREVER GRATEFUL to God for allowing me this time with her!!!! Remember specialists' in 3 States predicted, based on FACTS of many studies and tests...brain scans..., that she would die by age 5... they were not wrong, however GOD IS RIGHTEOUS! I want to say to anyone out there...RISE UP IN HIM, TRUST IN HIM because He will not let you fall...He will see you through...there IS HOPE in Him...His Will be done is what I prayed for YEARS ago, and the acceptance & strength to endure should the death sentence given my little girl come to be...and at the same time asking Our Loving Heavenly Father, if He so Wills, "to be her missing enzyme," "to be her medication," and to "HEAL her here," "sustain her,"...as my heart desperately desires this...thus far, and YEARS LATER...she still lives because He LIVED, and died, and rose again...for me and you! My request for prayer is that all seizure activity would CEASE in the Name of Jesus! My Katalina (affected by Krabbe Leukodystrophy), had several mini seizures today. She calls them "the shakes." She has the head cold her younger siblings recenly had, and for Katalina this is risky. Her immune system is not strong enough to fight off sickness. Any additional illness increases the seizure activity of affected children. I pray in Jesus Name her brain would be at PEACE! Thank you in advance for standing with me in prayer! God is GOOD. And, Katalina (now age 10-expected to die at age 5), is a real trooper & BLESSING to many! I LOVE YOU Katalina! xoxo Thank you JESUS, for her life, & the continuance of PEACE about her! Amen!

I am asking for prayer on behalf of my ten year old daughter, Katalina. She was diagnosed with a rare & terminal condition: Krabbe Leukodystrophy. No cure, no real treatment, especially for her. She was not a "candidate" for a stem cell transplant back in 2006 when she was properly diagnosed in 3 States. Specialists' predicted she would die by age 5. Her brain was already covered more than 90% by white matter-she is missing an enzyme, and without it, her brain produces toxic levels of white matter, hence destroying the CNS and other human abilities. Affected children stop walking, talking, they go blind and deaf. They become dependant on feeding & breathing tubes until they die. God has surely had HIS Hand on her, as she is still alive...PRAISING HIM, and doing pretty well considering, although she is not without daily challenges. Specifically, I am asking for prayer, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, against blindness & her going deaf! She has seen with her eyes TEN YEARS and for her world to suddenly go dark would be devastating! Her eyes are changing & our neurologist writes on a recent report that this could be due to her going blind. This is the gruesome reality of what Krabbe Leukodystrophy does to our affected children! Increased seizure activity, along with other evident changes, also reveal an indicator of death within the next few years. Katalina has shocked us all, and lived past the grim prognosis, and with very little affects of Krabbe itself. Another theory from medical science is that Katalina has a 2nd (that's right, a 2nd) rare condition/diagnosis, also with no cure, that may be altering the course (somehow) of the first diagnosis: the Krabbe! Please pray with me, In JESUS NAME, against blindness and her going deaf!!!! Should she leave this Earth prematurely one day, I pray it is still with SIGHT (IN JESUS NAME) and still with HEARING (IN JESUS NAME) and still with the BEAUTIFUL smile on her precious face that Krabbe, or Mitochondrial, has not taken from her! I BELIEVE 100% that if God WILLS her here, she stays! I also BELIEVE that God can restore & completely HEAL her sight, her hearing, her bent legs, and her crooked back (severe scoliosis).
