Dear Father,
Thank you for all of the blessings that you rain upon me daily! You amaze me with your love!
Please help me to keep my eyes on you, Lord. Instill your view in my heart on the things that I struggle with, so that I will learn your ways and turn from the things that pull me away and distract me from the journey that You and I are on together.
Be the architect of my life, and of my love life, and write for me the story that You have always wanted me to have. I give all of me over to You. You know me, Lord, all of my sins, all of my weaknesses, and the things that I may try to take back out of fear, but I pray that You will keep them from my reach and protect me from the temptations that lead me away from where we are going. Help me to be the person You intend me to be, so that I can be the person You intend me to be for the people You bring into my life. I pray for the man after your heart that You intend for me, that he is seeking You with all his heart and striving to be who You intend him to be for all of the people You bring into his life.
I pray for my daughter, for her man and my granddaughter, my brother and his wife, to learn Your ways, to know and Love you, and to accept the Grace that You give. I pray for my son, that he will grow into the godly man that You desire him to be so that he can be the husband and father in the love story You will one day write for him. I pray this also for, the sons of my loved ones. I pray for the young woman, that you intend for my son, that she will be a woman after Your heart, and grow to be the wife and mother in their love story. I pray this also for the daughters of my loved ones.
I pray for the health and well-being of family and friends, and for You to rain your blessings upon them, too, and let them see Your glory in those blessings.
I pray for my country, for guidance for the people in office to do right while they hold the positions of trust that they have been placed in. Let them live up to the promise of what is meant by "serving your country" rather than service to self.
I pray for all those that have asked for intercession through prayer. The list is long, but I ask, in my heart for Your will to be seen and felt by each, according to Your will.
Make my life a prayer to You, Father.
