I am asking for prayers for my friend Priscilla Simoneaux and her family, especially her sister who is fighting for her life. Her sister Cheri Lynn Benham and her daughter, Natalie Corkern were shot last week by Cheri's husband who also took his own life. Unfortunatley Natalie died before getting to the hospital. Cheri is in ICU and has had surgery and complications that are life threatning. Cheri hasn't been told that her daughter died, the doctors have advised not to. They say she would most likely give up and not fight to live if she is told. This family has had more devestation put on them than anyone should ever have to face. Priscilla and Cheri's sister Christine died from cancer a year ago today. And their Mother's paents were both both murdered years ago as well. So if anyone out there could take a moment and ask God to help this family make it through this trajedy and to heal Cheri with his love and grace, sending her home to her family. Help them with their grief of loosing Natalie, to ease the pain of loneliness in their heart for Christine, by giving them strength to face each day without her, and now without Natalie. I have known Priscilla since my childhood, went to school with her. She was ALWAYS a kind person and nice to be around. I never had the chance of meeting her family unfortunately. But I didn't need to meet them for me to believe they are good people and don't deserve what's happened to them. My heart hurts for them and I wanted to try to get as many prayers said for them as I could. Please remember this family when you are safe at home with yours tonight and ask God to embrace this family and heal Cheri physically and emotionally with his love.
