Jesus Christ, be with me, please! You see my fears and my hopes, I ask that you let my fears be groundless and that you keep my hopes alive! Stay with me tonight, and let me please be well enough to travel tomorrow, so that I may come home! Please have mercy on me, and on us all! God, I ask that you help me deal with the difficult situation in the kindergarten where I work. Please give me the strength and optimism I need to keep smiling, and to help the girl who is having difficulties... I ask that you help me find a way to help her! Please, I feel like I'm close to breaking under the stress... help me stay strong until things get better again, God! Please show me the right path to walk and may Jesus walk alongside me... Amen.

Dear God. I feel like the world is falling apart. Sickness, war, earthquakes, draught, floods... everywhere I turn is pain and destruction. I'd like to pray for everyone that is suffering, but I'm afraid that if I dwell on it all, it will swallow me whole... God, please help the world, but most of all... help us all help the world by prayer and other deeds. Help us be good to each other, God! Please give me strength and the courage to face the world without being overwhelmed! I need you, God, I'm scared...

I would like for you to take just a little time out of your day to pray for a good friend of mine. She's been struggling with illness and extreme fatigue for around two years now, but she's still fighting to keep up and get through her college education with grades she can be proud of. I worry that she will work herself to her death one day. So I pray to God, asking him to help her through her studies, and to help the doctors to finally find a working treatment so that her health will improve.
