I don’t know where to begin. My walk with God hasn’t been the strongest, but my life is proof of His kindness. He has never forgotten or forsaken me. I am struggling financially and I often find myself in the same difficulties again and again, yet God always carries me through somehow. Right now it’s very tough, and I’ve been isolated and depressed for months but still there’s a calmness in me and I know it’s HIM. Today’s devotional surprised me: “When you are at a loss for what to do, do nothing. In pausing, you become aware of God’s presence, and the answer will come.” As I begin my fast tomorrow, I pray for the Lord’s strength and wisdom to draw me closer to His presence. Amen.
