Please pray for me to receive God's guidance and help regarding recent adversity. As a cashier at my job, I received counterfeit money Which was supposed to be detected by a counterfeit pen but apparently it wasn't. Now I am being scapegoated and have been suspended and cannot even get contact with my employer to rectify the issue. I'm trying to contact the California Labor Board but these things go slow.

This was my income that of course I need to live on partially (I'm also a freelance data analyst but work comes in erratically) , But more importantly that was the main source of income for my daughter, who has honestly never wronged anyone.

I don't know if God did this to me because he closes a door to open a window, but I am uneasy regarding my near future and ashamed that I cannot support my child consistently. So I'm praying for God too allay my fears, & provide illumination for my path forward which proceeds through darkness.

I also need God's help in remembering what he has done for me in the past which is get me that very job, and to be thankful consistently, instead of letting the busyness of life make me forget how my blessings came to be.
