So far I have learned that God is preparing every woman who is single for someone special who deserves her heart. So I would like to pray to God to help me grow so that I will be ready when that special person comes into my life and that my eyes and heart will be open to welcome him and not shut off from him just because of past experiences. At times I would question myself as to why I seem to be the only one who has never quite found love and romance as a 21 year old woman. Although people say you should celebrate your single status which I do and I think I have grown to love myself more and to appreciate myself more so that I will not need a man's attention; I feel that it is still possible to question yourself when you have waited so long- the notion of being independent in your single status and not wanting a man can be a bit misleading sometimes because everyone would love to have someone that cares about them truly...which is why everyone around you has that someone..they wouldnt have that someone if they didnt want that person. So why should single people have to pretend not to want someone? I think appreciating your single status and also appreciating/understanding the fact that you truly would love someone to share a life with are both important. So as God promised in Hebrews 13:5, I would like to magnify his promises for me and other single women and would like people to join me in praying that we allow God to fill us with unconditional Love so that we may let him fulfill our every need. So that when someone comes into our lives, we will be ready to APPRECIATE them and NOT NEED them because God is already fulfilling our NEEDS. So that when they decided to walk out on you, you will let them and realise that they were not meant for You and you thank God for that. And save your appreciation for that special person. And when we appreciate someone will teach ourselves and them how to truly Love, because true Love does not NEED it just appreciate. When you NEED someone, you end up using them and they also use you which leads to an exploiting relationship; and God wants something way better than that for us. Help me pray for true love for women like myself and that we may find moments of trust in God's plan and not question ourselves. Thanks
