Thanks again for prayers for me and my loved ones, especially for me, my sister and my nephew and his cats. Please pray that I will get to the airport in time to catch my plane to visit my sister. My husband and I recently bought a car, a 1998 Ford Taurus. It is beautiful inside and out, proving that the previous owner took good care of it, but-- not surprisingly-- it is not dependable. It was working fine for a couple of weeks but it was dead the morning that I had a doctor's appointment. I canceled and rescheduled the appointment, but then it snowed and my husband's health issues prevented him from digging the car out. I canceled and rescheduled again. If I don't get to the clinic the third time, I think the doctor will not order my prescriptions again without seeing me in person, and worse than that, I'm afraid the clinic will not keep me as a patient. I set up a ride with the county's medical transportation, which is free, but I'm afraid my husband will insist that I cancel that ride. I want to take a taxi to the airport, and it is a safe bet that he will try to force me to wait for him to take me, especially since the taxi will cost between $100 and $200. I am terrified.
