I am battling stage 3 endometrial cancer. I have finished 5 of the 6 prescribed chemo treatments and all 28 radiation treatments. Thank GOD, I haven't had to deal with any nausea or vomiting. However, the chemo treatments have severely affected my nervous system and muscular system. Most days, I have to use a seated walker just to get around my home. My balance has also been severely affected. I just graduated from college in May 2014 with an Associates degree in Health Information Technology and received my diagnosis a little over a month after graduation. I am facing all this with no health insurance and am not able to work right now because of the toll the chemo has taken on my system. I have applied for disability, but no decision will be made until my treatments are finished. My last chemo is scheduled or February 25th. So far, the doctors feel I've responded well to the treatments. I know that GOD has brought me this far and will continue to walk with me. Looking forward to hearing my doctor say "no evidence of disease" in a couple of months. I praise GOD for going through this with me and helping me to stay as positive as possible through it all!!!!!!
