I have gone through this in the past. this month makes me free from alcohol for forty years. On the verge of divorce after 9 years of marraige, I finally decided that I couldn't quit by myself so I laid my drinking habit at the foot of the cross and left it there never to pick it up again. I gave my problem to God and it became his problem not mine. I couldn't quit, but God could do it for me. My dad's name was Earl and it is my middle name .
