My 21 year old son was in a motorscooter accident and suffered a subdural hematoma last nov. 2nd, as a result of that accident the sugeon had to remove a large portion of his front, side and back of his brain due to the tremendious hemeraging and he was in a coma for months. The only place that would take him is over 500 miles away. I have bought all the medical equiptment he will ever need, had a background check done, took a CPR class and orientaion with IHSS and have been approved to be his fulltime health care provider for life. His Dr. did not want him to come home, but go to a rehab, however he did not meet the requirements (3 hours sitting up) and he cant stay in the subacute unit because they can't do anymore for him (catch22 here) I just want my son home :( he can talk and use his right arm and remembers his computer password and such) He begs me everytime I call to please come get him.... This week he has regressed and is in depression :( PLEASE pray that the Lord will open the door for him to come home before Thanksgiving.. He's brocken-hearted and so am I...
