In September of 2012 my little sister was rushed to the hospital because she was short of breath and turning purple. She flat lined twice as her oxygen level upon arriving at the hospital was only 22%. She was put on a respirator and after only 2 days she was able to breathe on her own. She is only 27 years old. For two months we were told that she had severe asthma and I rushed her to the local hospital every two nights because she couldn't breathe. In November she got a PET Scan and the doctors found a tumor wrapped around her wind-pipe. A week later we found out it was cancer. After one round of chemotherapy the tumor shrunk and the doctors found that she has a hole in her esphogus due to the tumor pushing against it. She had to have a feeding tube. After her second round of chemotherapy her hair fell out. During her third round of chemotherapy (December 25th) she caught pneumonia. On December 26th she was moved to I.C.U. and put on a ventilator. She is still on the ventilator and it is doing all of her breathing for her. She has twin daughters who are only nine years old. They had to have Christmas and Thanksgiving with their Mom in the hospital. Please pray for my baby sister. Please pray that God will heal her from this and give her the strength and determination to keep fighting! Her girls need her. I need her. Our whole family needs her. She is the most loving and forgiving person I have ever known.
