The prayers that I need are to be a better person, to think of others before myself; to help those that do not have resources to enjoy the little things in life, like a beer now and then or a movie. Pray that I give more to others than myself; that I think of others before myself.

Lord, I pray for guidance to do the right thing; to give more of myself than to myself. I pray for patience on my part, that I learn to keep control. I pray for the homeless, that they find shelter; I pray for the cold and hungry that they may eat and keep warm. I pray for my family and friends, that their lives are full and free from danger. I pray that you come into my heart and guide me to do your will, not mine.
