yes, our earthly life with feelings and emotions are many times hard to sort out. when we put our self in difficult situations we many times end with heart ache and guilt. the only thing a person then can do is prostrate yourself before the living God and call on him to save you from more anguish and see that you are trying to live in two worlds, which are not compatible. Since you posted on this site you are a christian? you know that is not pleasing to Him and no good can come of it if God is not at the center of your life.
