Our granddaughter Amanda had jaundice a few days after she was born. This affected her growth and though she can hear and understand what she is told, she does not speak but uses gestures and makes noises. She is unable to do things by herself. She is 10 years and our prayer has been for the Lord to enable her to talk and express herself as well as learn how to take care of herself.
