Prayer Request
Thanks again for prayers for me and my family and all of our pets.
Please pray for my husband, who has been kinder than before these past few days.
Please pray that Glen will be able to receive and cash the check I sent to help care for the cats. Like many individuals and organizations on Facebook who do animal rescue work, he prefers to use PayPal, but I have had too many problems with PayPal, including recently when my bank had to cancel and replace my debit card. I don't know why PayPal seems to work all right for other people but not for me.
Please pray that the mice will leave our house without having to be cruelly trapped.

You are not the only one who's had problems with PayPal. Also, it is sometimes risky to use PayPal. If Glen cannot cash the check you sent, you can always go to the bank and get cash out to give to him. Just be sure that this is not a scam. You need to be careful when people only want payment through one specific app. Hopefully you know Glen personally. Good luck. You'll be in my prayers.
I don't know Glen personally, but he has been my Facebook friend for many years now. I have never tried to send him money before. I'm afraid my check has gotten lost in the mail. I have had some bad experiences with the post office, though not as bad as my experiences with PayPal!
I never would have willingly used PayPal. I was trying to contribute to a group that helps owners of retired military and police dogs. I went to their website with the intention of giving them $7. They offered the options of credit/debit card or PayPal. I selected debit card. Without my permission they reactivated my old PayPal account and gave them my updated debit card information.
Next thing I knew, the fraud division called me to question 4 or 5 potentially fraudulent charges. Only one was legitimate. The organization had the nerve to send another request for money. I was going to send them a nasty letter, but I figured that would be a waste of time and energy. Probably some day I will send them money again, but only by check!

I'm sorry you were scammed. There are so many worthy organizations in need of funding. I would stay away from that fraudulent organization for good. Many scammers set up webpages that look genuine, but they're not. That's how they fool people.
