I need prayer for my daughter Cheryl. She has stopped believing in God and has changed to ultra liberal. I do not know what has happened in her life that there has been such a great change. My adult grandson Daniel was heartbroken when she told him this. We have been praying and loving her. Oh please pray. I am not sure how to pray anymore. I just say to God "help".

Jean, you are not alone here! I have the same issue here too even though I brought out my kids well but now as adults, they are different and difficult to communicate with strong atheist influence. Please don't worry too much about them now. They will have to answer for their soul and you will have to answer for yourself too. You have a life to live now and be happy ok. Just enjoy your life with nature and God. Do pray for your kids as through prayer, miracles do happen but you should not be responsible for their actions anymore and suffer for their actions. God will surely have a plan for them as he did for you and your family. Remember, our lives are short, don't waste it on unworthy people.
Has something happened that made your daughter lose belief in God? Please let her know that there is nothing wrong with questioning God's existence. God can understand our questioning. Perhaps you can buy her a book or two written by people who have had near-death experiences. Their experiences brought them to believe in God. As for her changing her political beliefs, if you read the Bible, you'll find that many of Jesus' teachings are very liberal. Perhaps she has changed her views because of the current president's behavior and actions. He may not be a good person, but he doesn't represent the moderate Republicans, so she shouldn't change her beliefs because of one person or one experience. I will pray that God will lead her back to Him. If specific circumstances caused her to change her beliefs so drastically, she just may need some time to sort everything out. Nagging or reprimanding her won't help. Let her know that it's OK to question God, but she should give Him time and be open to answers, as they will come.
