Lord God,
We lift Steven before You—Your son, Your creation, the one You have never disowned, not for a single moment. You know the weight he carries, the heartbreak of being cut off from the people he loves most. You see the mistakes he has made, and You also see the repentance, the longing, the love that still lives in him.
Father, You are the God who restores families, who heals what is broken, who softens hearts that have grown distant. We ask You to surround Steven with Your presence in a way he can feel—steady, comforting, and real. Let him know that even when people turn away, You never do. Strengthen him where he feels weak. Guard his mind from shame, despair, and lies that tell him he is beyond repair. Remind him that no mistake is too big for Your mercy, and no distance is too far for Your grace to reach.
Lord, we pray for his children and grandchildren. Touch their hearts. Bring clarity, compassion, and healing where there has been hurt. Open doors for reconciliation in Your timing and in Your way. Let forgiveness begin to take root, even if slowly, even if quietly.
And God, most of all, save him. Draw Steven close to You. Let him feel Your love washing over every wound. Give him peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances. Give him hope that rises again. Give him the assurance that he is still loved, still wanted, still redeemable.
Hold him steady. Guide him forward. And let his story become one of restoration, healing, and your unfailing love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen
