I need some serious divine intervention in my life as it seems to be affecting the family. Everything I do is wrong or I'm the reason things are wrong....I can shoulder the blame of others, but no matter how hard I pray....or how many times I think I'm doing right to the best of my abilities it seems to fail miserably.

If you read my prayers below, I just wanted to share with you that God is soooo good. I came through my surgery alright. It was touch and go as I lost almost 2 liters of blood (think of a bottle of soda) and I only weight 120. that being said, I also developed two small blood clots but I am home, post-op day 5. Walked 175 feet and climbed (with help) 22 stairs. I'm on the mend......

Ok.....big day Friday....the upcoming dreaded surgery. Thank you all who have been praying for me. Though I am awfully scared, I know God is with me and finally feel some peace. I please pray that the surgery is safe and successful since it is so long and involved and pray that I am not too much of a burden on my family since the recovery period is 4-6 months. I feel selfish asking for prayers....but I please pray that the surgery is a success. I KNOW it is God's will not mine....but the type of surgery is so involved. I have many fears......yes, I said I feel more peaceful, but the unknown is so scary....Please pray for me. I appreciate it and always try to pray for others! My friend's little baby just found out he needs heart surgery due to a hole in his heart. Please pray for him.

I feel that I need to ask for prayers. I am facing a very big surgery in two weeks. I have to have a spinal fusion done and it is a 6 hour surgery with a 4-6 month recovery period. I have a couple of minor health issues that are pre-existing~ asthma, and tachycardia (my heart beats too fast). That being said, I am VERY frightened of being under anesthesia for that long. I fear waking up, I fear having a heart attack and I fear dying. I fear leaving my family...my daughters need me. My oldest has a severely rare disease and my youngest is an amazing girl that needs me too. . . and I need them. Please pray that I feel peace going into this entire ordeal and please pray that the Lord is merciful and he allows me to wake up from this surgery experience.

Dear Lord:

I pray that we can find a solution to my oldest daughter's health issue. We have seen 11 doctors and have had 11 surgeries and no one seems to be able to treat her and thus far, the diagnosis is so rare that no one knows how to help. I pray that she find some relief as I hate to see such a young girl bed ridden. She is missing out on so much.

I also pray that my youngest daughter's health becomes managable. She has had kidney stones and was just diagnosed with asthma and very bad allergies...Lord, help her to feel well.

Lord, please bless my family and my marriage and keep your hand on me with my upcoming back surgery.
