I'm so sorry, I totally understand. My dog is 16 and I never forget how precious my time with her is. Dog is God spelled in reverse because their LOVE is as close to heaven on earth as we know. Sending Healing Light & Blessings to you!!
Randy, I lost my first Sheltie, a SERVICE DOGGIE, that hurt and left a hole in my heart, and still is there, but I acquired a ma ma Sheltie a month and a half after because I could not stand my coming home from work in an empty house. Then I acquired her son and for seven and half years lost him, and both I lost with CANCER. My ma ma doggie had CANCER but almost three years in remission with the help of ELECTRO CHEMO THERAPY. I have PTSD because of my two CANCER SURGERIES and all my babies were SERVICE DOGGIES. I know how you feel and remember they and your ROCKY is up there in the heavens have a great time with the LORD. At first when people would ask me about my babes it was hard to talk about it, but the best medicine is talk about ROCKY and do get yourself another, but it will never replace your ROCKY, it takes up some of the loss. My two are with me and my ma ma girl in their urns and they will go with me an my ma ma when I do go home also.. I know it is hard but one has to be strong and life goes on. Go get a rescue doggie at the shelter, I got mine from a breeder because I love Shelties. God Bless You and pray about your loss and good will come your way through Jesus Christ.
Randy, my boyfriend lost his 12-year-old Boykin spaniel just a few weeks ago. It is a terrible experience - I know. I have lost dogs in the past, and they truly are members of the family, and it hurts just as much. Please give yourself the opportunity to mourn, and NEVER let anyone make you feel guilty about your grief because "it's just a dog." There is no such thing - he was a part of you. And I do believe we will see our furbabies again. After all, God is Love, right? And who could be filled with more love than our wonderful dogs! He will be there to meet you someday, but in the meantime, take care of yourself, and when the time is right, maybe another beautiful furry soul will need your love and devotion. They never take the places of the ones we have lost, but it is a good thing to pass that love onto another animal who needs it. Prayers for peace for you!
Randy, My pet of 13 years developed tumors in his abdomen and I had to have him put to sleep may 11. I have lost both of my parents and a sibling but this affected me so profoundly. I guess because they are in our care and we are responsible for them. I will pray for you to overcome your grief. The pain and grief is so real. God bless you. Go to YouTube and research rainbow bridge when you are strong enough. It will make you cry but it will also give you hopeđź’ś
Oh Randy, I am so terrible sorry for your great loss. You will make it through this I promise but you will never forget your best buddy Rocky either. I lost my mom and 3 days later my sweet Baby Bear, my very first Bernese Mountain Dog that was my best buddy at the time. I thought my whole world had crushed and everything turned dark and gray. But, I made it through and I praise God everyday for loving me and comforting me in that time. He will comfort you also, just ask Him. Praise Him and give Him thanks for making you stronger each new day. We dog lovers will go through this many times in our lives simply because our furry friends just don't live as long as we do but that doesn't mean we won't ever get another one because the pain is so great. The reason we keep loving them and getting more is because of all the days of joy and love that they give us in the short time that they are here on this earth. You'll see your friend again one day so hold onto that thought. God bless.
So many know this pain! Most importantly is that God knows and He cares about your tears! Our animals are important to God. He sees the sparrow when it falls. Trust Him with your Rocky. God will take care of him. Matthew 5:4 says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." Make your focus Jesus and grow close to Him, Who keeps all of our loved ones. I prayed for you.
I had a Dane, named Rocky , he was 11.5 yrs old when he passed 2 years back, I loved him very much, he was my kid.. I have tears in my eyes right now while remembering him.. be brave.. if possible try to pet another one after some time.. God Bless His Soul, and give you strength.

Randy, I will gladly pray for you and be proud to do so so. I have a beautiful little dog named Chloe and she is my best friend. Rocky knew and still knows that you loved him and that you made his life on this earth as happy and blessed as you could and he is still wagging his tail with his love for you every time he thinks of you.
praying the lord will hold you close and let you love another and others Amen

hai Randy, may Rocky be happy with God now....
Dear Randy, I am so very sorry to read of the loss of your beloved Rocky. His photo reminds me a lot of my Sampson, who I had to send to the Rainbow Bridge 10 years ago on 8/16. I know he is waiting for me, along with my Mocha and Mitzi. I can't wait until the day we are all reunited again, never to be separated! My his good memories comfort you, and your heart heal with time, until you meet again! Love, hugs and prayers. Suzi

Prayers for you and God be with you.
Hi Randy, I have also lost dogs over time, and it hurts! My prayers are with you - know that I firmly believe that all dogs DO go to Heaven, as they are God's special angels that he sends to care for us. When it's time, and you'll know when it is, get one from a reputable animal shelter. There are many Angels there!
My heart goes out too you, may GOD and the LORD Jesus bless you and comfort you in your time of need. Be strong.
mi dispiace una preghiera la farò per i nostri amici animali, loro ci capiscono davvero. ciao Randy
Randy, I know exactly what you are going through because I too lost my dog of 13 years, her name was Roxy. I will pray that you find peace in all of this and some comfort knowing you gave your dog the best life he could possibly have. It's so hard to loose them and why they can't live longer, I just don't understand. My prayer is that someday we will reunite with all the dogs we have loved because that's the Heaven I want to go to...
Randy I am so sorry. That is the hardest thing to go through. We lost our loving Westie last year. She was thirteen. It was really hard on my husband. We couldn't stand the sadness and got two more little puppies, not to replace our beloved Coconut, but to help us heal. They are the light of our lives now. I still think of Coconut and get sad, but the laughter these two have given us has really helped.
praying, a dog really know how to show love
Bless your soul, Randy - Rocky has crossed the Rainbow bridge with your love with him. Thank you for caring and loving him, that was all he wanted xxxxx Blessings
So sorry Randy. My heart goes out to you. love animals. Please know that you gave him a kind loving and caring home. I believe that we will all be reunited with our furry kids on day in heaven. Sending kindest love - from South Africa
Randy, you are in my prayers it is so hard losing a best friend... I know how your feeling those feelings are natural as we except and do our best to carry on. I lost my Gracie almost a year ago next month the joyful memories surpass the pain now but I still talk to her daily I have her ashes on the mantle with her photos Rocky is your guardian angel now take peace in knowing you will one day be reunited with your best friend . Let God hold you close as you adjust he knows your hurting. God bless you.
We've been there, and the best advice I got was: "Don't grieve too much or Rocky will be upset and worried about you." You will see signs that he is still around even though you can't see him. Take comfort in that. Prayers.
I understand and know the pain and loss you are feeling. Cola was my constant companion/best friend until she passed at 14. Give yourself the time you need to grieve your friend. Our Heavenly Father loves us and our friends, dog, cat, horse whatever they may be. You will know when that time comes for a new friend. It took years for the grief process for me personally. My son and his wife gave me a puppy on Valentine's Day this year It has been 6 years now since Cola Bear passed. This lil ball of energy is pure love, named Shadow. She is a rescue adopted German Shepherd/Alaskan husky. I had asked God if it was time for another dog friend months before she came. When you are ready I pray you again know the love and friendship I have again been blessed with.
I am so sorry, Randy! He looks like he was a real sweetheart! You have all my prayers....
Take Time To Mourn And Go Get Another One To Love God Bless You
Thank you,my caring friends, for your prayers. I truly am grateful.
My boy went surrounded by people that loved him. He is with my Dad in heaven, now. I just miss my best friend, travel companion and confidant.
Randy, I am praying for the pain you are going through. I lost my dog to cancer 2 years ago. I miss my dog mason everyday. I know that maze. Is no longer in pain and that helps me heal! God Bless you and keeping your memories of your fur baby
Thank you, Vickie
Give yourself time to mourn your friend, then think about getting another dog. Rocky would want you to make another dog happy by giving it the love that made Rocky so happy. Make it a rescue dog, they need our love. Praying.
Yes, I will. When the time is right. Thank you Ronald.
I am so very sorry. I lost my American Bulldog Lexi this past Father's day morning. She would have been 10 years old this September. I miss her so very much. I know you are hurting also. It seems like she has been gone for such a long time but she hasn't. I am looking forward to seeing her in heaven. I know she is not hurting anymore. The bible says there are animals in heaven and I believe it. My prayers are with you.
Thank you, Peggy. I'm looking forward to the day I am reunited with my boy.
Awe, I feel your pain Randy. I will pray that God brings you comfort.
I lost my twelve year old best friend just over six months ago. Her name was Leila and it was devastating to lose her. But, I take comfort that she is at Home with God now and will never know pain and suffering. I know that one day I will see her again.
I still talk to her and call her name sometimes. And I often think of her, especially in the mornings just before I wake and I can almost feel her pressed against me again. I think she visits me.
God bless you Randy. Grieve your friend and take the time you need, but remember to lean on God and look to him for comfort.
Thank you, Shannon. I feel my boy with me too. I just picked up his cremains from the vet today. I cried the whole way home.

This made me cry. I lost my puppy named Rocky on the 10th. His death was extremely tragic for my family and I as he was attacked by my other dog. I am having a difficult time forgiving myself. It's caused me to slip into a dark depression. I'm so sorry for your loss. I will pray for you. Please pray for me as well.
