Dear Friend, I pray for peace in your heart and strength to get through your terrible loss. My husband of 61 years passed away just four weeks ago, and so much of me has left with him. Yet, somehow God has been sustaining me each day and I know I can trust Him to be with me until the day when I see my beloved again in Heaven. I can tell you without a doubt, the Lord is the only One Who is able to help with your pain and loss. I know He can and I know He will. Take a Bible and begin reading it. It will comfort you when you can't concentrate. Crying is a good thing and is an outlet the Lord has given us in times of despair. After a while, though, it will be a good thing to try and stop (only a little at a time as you are able). My prayers are with you and believe me, I can pray with understanding.

Lord, please touch this person and help this person find peace! It is horrible to lose someone close, especially a partner! My heart goes out to you, and I will pray for you today, and tomorrow, and tomorrow! It may, or may not, be comforting to know that so many people are thinking of you and praying for you and lifting you up to the Lord, but know that we are all doing just this for you. May you find peace, acceptance, and love! God bless
